JOIN THE UNION

 Local 2912 negotiates and enforces the contract that sets your wages, benefits, seniority rights, and working conditions with the City of Chicago. Members elect leadership, vote on contracts, and have a say in the decisions that affect their jobs. There's strength in numbers — the more members we have, the stronger our voice at the table. 

 Any City of Chicago employee in a job classification covered by our collective bargaining agreement is eligible for membership. 

 1. Complete a membership card.  Request one from a steward or the union office.
2. Return it to your steward or union office.
3. Get connected — you'll be added to our member email list and can start attending meetings right away.
 

 Dues are deducted [how] and fund the representation, bargaining, and legal support the local provides.
